The Alpha Body Program
Jump start your metabolism! The Alpha Body Program is the ultimate 12-week
fat loss muscle building program. Through the combination of weight training,
nutrition, and cardiovascular exercise your body will become an efficient,
fat burning machine. In 12 weeks, the average client reduces their body
fat by 8%, loses 10% of their starting body weight, and adds 5 pounds
of muscle. More importantly, they feel and look better, learn how to eat
and exercise, and speed up their metabolism! Clients who have completed
the program will be available for Q&A after the presentation.
Fit to the Core
“After ten sessions you’ll notice a difference, after twenty sessions
others will notice...after thirty you’ll have a new body.”
-- Joseph Pilates
Open to all levels, this mat-based Pilates workout is an introduction
to the Pilates method. A mind-body workout, Pilates is designed to strengthen
and elongate the body through exercises targeting the abdominal muscles,
hips, butt, and thighs. Dramatically, Pilates can transform the way your
body looks, feels, and performs by teaching awareness of the body, proper
posture, and graceful movement. Pilates is ideal for improving flexibility
and can also help with stress management.
Mid-Life Fitness for Women
Are you changing from a “pear” to an “apple?” Is your metabolism slowing
down? This workshop will discuss the long term effects of estrogen deficiency.
Fitness training goals for the various stages of menopause will be provided

The Lazy Diet
It's a diet for people on the run, the ones who don't have a lot of time
to shop and cook. Pam Oliver, a weight-loss specialist who created the
plan, calls it the “Lazy Diet.” The menus center on three meals and three
snacks a day, with dishes that take less than 15 minutes to prepare or
are easy to buy. A sample menu for the day offers a choice of 1 cup low-fat
yogurt or two hard-cooked eggs for breakfast, two beef or chicken tacos
or a tuna sandwich with fresh vegetables for lunch, 1-1/2 cups of macaroni
and cheese and a serving of green veggies for dinner, and three snacks—two
as fruit and one an ice cream sandwich. Ms. Oliver will be discussing
how successful participants have been on this plan that is still making
the news 17 months later, a must for people "on-the go."
